Balance and Falls Clinic with Reform Physical Therapy – Outside!Dr. Christina Levesque, PT, DPT of Reform Physical Therapy is back at People Plus on Monday, September 14 at noon to teach what balance means, how to prevent a fall and how to properly handle a fall if one occurs. Dr. Levesque will also discuss the many benefits of physical therapy, as well as how the process of starting physical therapy works. Program will meet outside in the Center parking lot, weather permitting. This presentation is for members only, and masks and registration are required. Mindfulness-Based Stress ReductionMindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) – Adapted for Online is an educational program designed to help people better cope with stress and life’s challenges. This virtual eight-week course offers experiential practice with mindfulness and meditation, information about stress and stress management, and group discussions. It includes 1 1?2-hour weekly group classes, a required hour-long orientation, and one 4-hour Saturday retreat.
