Dialogue Groups About Racism Starting Soon 09/07/23 - 09/08/23 at All Day

Dialogue Groups About Racism Starting Soon

About 150 people from the Brunswick area have now participated in the Sacred Ground program of conversations about race and racism. The feedback has been that it is an eye-opening and deeply moving experience. Each group consists of 6-8 participants and two trained facilitators, who meet together over eleven sessions to discuss films and other materials, creating a space conducive to honest sharing and deep listening. While this program began in the Episcopal Church, our version is not religious in nature (really!). Sacred Ground is for anyone who wants to understand racism more clearly and envision how we might move forward in a different way. Please join us!

Group A: Mondays (9/11, 10/2, 10/23, 11/13, 12/11, 1/8, 1/29, 2/26, 3/18, 4/8, 4/29) from 1:30-3:00pm at Curtis Library
Group B: Tuesdays (9/19, 10/10, 10/31, 11/28, 12/19, 1/9, 1/30, 2/27, 3/19, 4/9, 4/30) from 1:00-2:30pm at Curtis Library
Group C: Tuesdays (10/10, 10/31, 11/28, 12/19, 1/9, 1/30, 2/27, 3/19, 4/9, 4/30, 5/21) from 10:00-11:30am at Curtis Library
