Mid Coast Hospital Auxiliary’s 2023 Holiday Wreath SaleThe Mid Coast Hospital Auxiliary’s 2023 Holiday Wreath Sale is fast approaching and we would like to invite your business to purchase your holiday wreaths from us this holiday season. Wreaths provided through Skillins will have a red bow, are double sided and 18 inches in size. Wreaths and basket arrangements can be ordered until November 26. ORDER WREATHS UNTIL OCTOBER 1 Wreaths will be delivered to your business before Thanksgiving beginning Friday, November 17. The annual wreath sale helps the Auxiliary to continue its mission of raising funds to support Health Career Scholarships throughout our community.
The Mid Coast Hospital Auxiliary (MCHA) is delighted to offer holiday wreaths and other items to community members once again this year. The proceeds from this sale benefit the Auxiliary’s scholarship program, which awards one-year scholarships to both high school seniors as well as non-traditional applicants who wish to pursue a career in the health care field. Orders can be paid for and picked up at the Auxiliary’s Holiday Bazaar and Bake Sale on November 30 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Mid Coast Hospital. The Bazaar and Bake Sale take place in the Mid Coast Hospital Café. Wreaths and arrangements can be picked up under the tent in the hospital’s Healing Garden. Free Exhibit - ROBERT McCLOSKEY: The Art of WonderCurtis Memorial Library is hosting a free exhibit of nearly 70 original illustrations from Robert McCloskey’s iconic Maine-based children’s books – ONE MORNING IN MAINE, TIME OF WONDER, BURT DOW DEEP-WATER MAN, and turning 75 this year . . . BLUEBERRIES FOR SAL, as well as the Boston classic MAKE WAY FOR DUCKLINGS.
The exhibit is open during library hours, and includes special programming throughout, including readings from Sal McCloskey herself, and drawing workshops led by co-presenters the Illustration Institute.
