Ellis Paul 30th Anniversary Tour with Radoslav Lorkovic 05/06/23 at 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm

Ellis Paul 30th Anniversary Tour with Radoslav Lorkovic

Back by popular demand, singer-songwriter Ellis Paul will appear at the UUCB Concerts for a Cause concert series accompanied by Radoslav Lorkovic on May 6, 2023 at 7:30.  Concerts for a Cause brings special concerts to the Greater Brunswick area while raising money for local charities.

Ellis Paul brings his 30th Anniversary Tour home to Maine! with Radoslav Lorkovic on piano! Ellis will be showcasing songs from his forthcoming new album “55” in this performance for Concerts for a Cause.  Paul is an astute storyteller, poetic and literate, with a stellar stage presence. Lorkovic is a Croatian born and classically trained folk and blues musician known in particular for his extraordinary flair on the piano and accordion.

Paul is an astute storyteller, poetic and literate, with a stellar stage presence. Some artists document their lives through their music. Others chronicle their times. It’s a rare artist who can do both, telling their own story through songs that also encapsulate the essence of people and places who have helped define their era overall. Few others, for whatever genius they may possess, can relate their own history to the history experienced by those who find that common bond, be it in a coming of age, living through the same realities or sharing similar experiences.

Ellis Paul is one of those gifted singer/songwriters. Though some may refer to him as a folk singer, he is more, for lack of a better word, a singular storyteller, a musician whose words reach out from inside and yet also express the feelings, thoughts and sensibilities that most people can relate to in one way or another, regardless of age or upbringing. The exhilaration of the open road. A celebration of heroes. The hope for redemption. Descriptions of those things that are both near and dear. The sharing of love…, intimate, passionate and enduring.

Listen to Ellis Paul:  Scarecrow in a Corn Maze

Tickets are $20in advance and $25 at the door. Students/Children $10.
