MSMT's Turn Up the Limelight CampaignIn January, MSMT is launching the Turn Up The Limelight campaign. Our goal is to raise $500,000 by the end of the 2023 season. As a part of this campaign, we will be shedding some “limelight” on what it takes to produce Broadway-quality theatre in Brunswick, Maine with backstage tours, exclusive interviews with our annual and production staff, and inside looks at the MSMT production process. People Plus Music in April AuctionMark your calendars! The 21st annual Music in April silent auction and live auction Gala – two premier happenings in the Brunswick community are coming this April! This year’s fundraiser will include the popular month-long online “silent auction,” which runs April 1 through the 28th, and the “live auction” Gala event on April 28th, from 5-8 pm at the St. John’s Community Center. Pop-up Contemporary Art ExhibitNo. 3 is a pop-up contemporary art exhibit in Brunswick, Maine, organized and curated by Lights Out Gallery in collaboration with the Frank Brockman Gallery. The show will open at the Frank Brockman Gallery opening Thursday, March 2nd, 5-9 pm, and running thru Sunday, April 2nd, 2023.
This show will feature 5 artists from Maine who are all at different stages in their careers, Lynn Duryea, a sculptor and ceramist as well as a founding trustee of Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, Ollie Solomitz, an architect, painter and sculptor based in Western Maine, Mark Little, a Brunswick based painter, sculptor and curator, and Lynn Barr a writer-turned sculptor and installation artist. |
