Step into the world of the famed 1920s-themed murder mystery board game in an iconic local mansion! Get ready to move through the rooms–each with its own costumed character–as you work with other players to determine the identity of the killer, where the deed took place, and with which weapon. There might even be a body lurking somewhere! Along the way, you’ll discover little known Skolfield stories as each room reveals its secrets. Following the hour-long game, players retreat to the PHC exhibit gallery for snacks, drinks, and social time. Costumes are welcome–make up your own CLUE character!–but not required. Photographs encouraged. Tickets: $25 per person. Limited to 12 people per entry time. This is fundraising event for PHC’s Park Row property and operations. We will be awarding a prize from Frosty’s Donuts to one winner in each of the following age categories: Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, Family, and Pet(s). Secrets of Brunswick by Red Cloak ToursExplore Brunswick in a unique and exciting way – through a Red Cloak Walking Tour! Offered daily, these walking tours will give you an inside look into the historic area and some of the earlier residents as well as a spirit or two that inhabit the area. Hear real history as well as little known folklore as you experience a walk back in time on the easy stroll through one of the historic sections in town. Tours are offered several times every day through November. The tours are private for your family or group and are appropriate for all ages. Guided from point to point by your professional storyteller, in real time, the walks are done by phone via conference call. This allows for questions, interaction and personalization on your Maine “Adventure in Discovery.” Up to 10 people can join in on the call for $29.95 total. Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department Trunk or TreatIn lieu of the traditional Goblins Parade and Creepy Creature Party, the Parks and Recreation Department is offering a FREE Trunk Or Treat in the parking lot of the Brunswick Recreation Center at 220 Neptune Drive on Brunswick Landing from 3pm until 6pm, Sunday, October 31st. Participating trunks will be decked out in Halloween themes and there will be individually wrapped treats for kiddos to collect at each one! Families will need to sign up for scheduled arrival times on our website in order to ensure this is a safe and fun Halloween event.
