Jewelry Classes at the Wedge in Ft. AndrossLisa & Scott Cylinder, collaborative studio Art Jewelers for 33 years, are teaching a basic/intermediate Jewelry Class in their Brunswick studio, “the Wedge.” Starting September 7th and running for 8 consecutive Tuesday evenings, the Cylinders will be teaching the basic knowledge of metals and jewelry making. The Wedge is Lisa & Scott Cylinder’s Studio and teaching space located in Fort Andross in Brunswick, ME. Lisa & Scott have been collaborative jewelry artiste for the past 33 years and have exhibited extensively, both nationally and internationally. They bring extensive knowledge and experiences to their classroom. Each Spring and Fall, they will be offering 8 week beginner jewelry/metals classes to learn the basic skills of Art Jewelry making. Offered daily, these walking tours will give you an inside look into the historic area and some of the earlier residents as well as a spirit or two that inhabit the area. Hear real history as well as little known folklore as you experience a walk back in time on the easy stroll through one of the historic sections in town. Tours are offered several times every day through November. The tours are private for your family or group and are appropriate for all ages. Guided from point to point by your professional storyteller, in real time, the walks are done by phone via conference call. This allows for questions, interaction and personalization on your Maine “Adventure in Discovery.” Up to 10 people can join in on the call for $29.95 total. Join Spark Cycling Studio for Sun Spark'd SaturdaysJoin us for Sun SPARK’d Saturdays, a series of mornings on the grass behind our beloved bunker for 45 minutes of moving and shaking on the bikes!
Recognizing that masked riding isn’t for everyone, we want to create as many opportunities to ride as possible. While being outside every day isn’t doable at this time, we are super pumped to spend some time under the sun on Saturdays as long as the weather cooperates!
Please note: masks are not required for our outside classes however if wearing one makes you more comfortable, please feel free to do so. We will decide weather feasibility (ie. rain, excessive heat, etc) by the evening prior and will communicate over our social media channels and via email to those that are signed up.
