We’ve had to change venues for our Thursday Storytime and Craft. Weather permitting, we will hold activities outside in front of Hubbard. If not, we’ll be inside the museum where COVID protocols do apply. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Museum Event Info.

  • FREE and open to the public.
  • Registration not required, capacity limits may apply.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Masks are required within the Museum for visitors 2 to 4 years of age (N95, KF-94).
  • Restroom facilities are not available for tent activities.
  • Tent activities are weather permitting, check website for cancellations on the date.

Old Friends exhibit at Points of View Art Gallery

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School at Berean Baptist Church is free for all children from age 3 to finished 5th grade. It goes from Monday, June 27th – Friday, July 1st from 5:45 pm – 8:30 pm. A free-will offering will be taken to help support CareNet of Mid Coast Maine.

Talk from Sr. Lucy Kurien

On Monday, June 27, at 7:00 pm., Sister Lucy Kurien will be coming to speak at First Parish Church in Brunswick (217 Maine St.). Sr. Lucy is a Catholic nun and founder of Maher, an interfaith refuge with 63 homes across India that rehabilitate battered and destitute women, children, and men. She has won innumerable awards, and Maher has consultative status with the U.N. Economic & Social Council. Sr. Lucy can inspire all of us who are engaged in the work of social action and human service to remember that great things are possible when fueled by courage, vision, kindness, grace, and mercy. She will be accompanied by local Maine author Darcy Cunningham who recently published the book “Rising to New Life, Stories from Maher.” The talk will be held in the First Parish Church sanctuary, and is open to the public, free of charge. Parking is available at 9 Cleaveland Street.

Sr. Lucy’s talk will be livestreamed and archived on the First Parish Church Facebook page.

Bowdoin International Music Festival: Ying Quartet

The Bowdoin International Music Festival welcomes the Ying Quartet, performing our first concert of the season on Monday, June 27 at 7:30PM with an all-Dvo?ák program. Come join us in Studzinski Recital Hall! Tickets available at www.bowdoinfestival.org/events. 

Each summer, musicians from the world’s finest conservatories and ensembles gather in Brunswick at the Bowdoin International Music Festival. This summer’s Festival takes place from June 27 to Aug 5. Concert-goers will enjoy evening chamber music at Studzinski Recital Hall every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, in addition to two Sunday matinées on July 10 and July 24. On July 15 and August 5, Crooker Theater will host the Festival orchestra and guest concerto soloists. In addition, don’t miss dozens of free student performances, masterclasses, and community events. Join us for these unique opportunities to explore chamber music repertoire spanning from the baroque period to today!
