Yoga for ConnectionEvery Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 7:30 am join our teachers for Yoga for Connection at Electric Cottage Collective. Yoga for Connection is slow-flow style deepening your innate physical, spiritual and mental skills in strength, flexibility and rest.
At ECC, we try our best to respect the lineage of yoga by remembering that yoga was created by black & brown people from Southeast Asia & Africa. Yoga was never meant to be just physical exercise; yoga is a way of life, a spiritual daily practice that integrates self-study and an ethical code of conduct to practice being in right relationship with ourselves, others, and our environment. We do our best to teach all of these values in our yoga classes, in the most accessible format possible. No experience necessary to participate.

There is no reading/sharing in this group, just a good time to buckle down and work quietly among the company of other writers. The group is facilitated by Molly McGrath, Curtis Contemporaries Committee member, former publications director of The Telling Room in Portland, and current owner/editor at Pink Eraser Press. |
