Yoga for Connection Mon, Wed & FriEvery Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 7:30 am join our teachers for Yoga for Connection at Electric Cottage Collective. Yoga for Connection is slow-flow style deepening your innate physical, spiritual and mental skills in strength, flexibility and rest.
At ECC, we try our best to respect the lineage of yoga by remembering that yoga was created by black & brown people from Southeast Asia & Africa. Yoga was never meant to be just physical exercise; yoga is a way of life, a spiritual daily practice that integrates self-study and an ethical code of conduct to practice being in right relationship with ourselves, others, and our environment. We do our best to teach all of these values in our yoga classes, in the most accessible format possible. No experience necessary to participate.

Listening in Motion: Contact & Holistic DanceDiscover the art of connection through movement. This class blends elements of integrative contact improvisation with holistic dance practices (somatic, authentic movement, applied anatomy) to create an open, supportive space for exploration. You’ll be guided through exercises that emphasize deep listening to your body’s natural rhythms, with the freedom to choose whether or not to engage in partner work. The focus is on trust, presence, and flow, allowing you to honor your own boundaries while exploring creative expression through touch, gravity, and momentum. All levels of experience are welcome, whether you’re new to dance or a seasoned mover seeking deeper connection.
