In The Realistic Joneses we meet Bob and Jennifer and their new neighbors, John and Pony, two suburban couples who have even more in common than their identical homes and their shared last names. As their relationships begin to irrevocably intertwine, the Joneses must decide between their idyllic fantasies and their imperfect realities.

The Realistic Joneses runs three weekends at The Theater Project: October 27th- November 12th. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2:00 PM.

Join us for the last ArtBar of 2023!  Spend an evening with friends and new acquaintances painting as you learn about ArtVan and our work in communities around Maine.  At ArtVan we focus on the process of creating art rather than the final product. Each participant works on an original inspiration so at the end of the night, each artwork is unique.

For a modest $30 fee, participants are invited to paint with the guidance of ArtVan’s professional staff, similar to how we invite our program groups to express themselves. This is an experience in creativity.  You can create a painting for yourself or something to gift to another.  We provide a canvas, paints, brushes, drawing materials, and any artistic support needed.

Taking place at OneSixtyFive. Cash bar available. No outside food or drinks permitted.

This FREE monthly series includes cooking demonstrations and education presented by health care and nutrition experts. The first session is on Sept. 14. Registration is required.

Join us at Taverna Khione on Thursday November 9th at 6:30pm as we welcome back Andreas Zinelis of Cava Spiliadis. We will be featuring 3 magnum bottles of wine from past great vintages. Domaine Gerovassiliou, Parparoussis and Biblia Chora will be the featured wineries. Because these are magnum bottles we cannot offer these wines for retail purchase as we have in the past. As such, this is truly a one time unique experience to try these rare wines. This 4 course dinner with wine pairings is $85 per person (tax and gratuity are not included) Due to the set menu and pairings we cannot accommodate dietary restrictions.

1st- Achinos- Maine sea urchin with lemon and olive oil- paired with Gerovassiliou Sauv Blanc 2018

2nd- Pastourma Pita- spiced cured beef and cheese pie- paired with Parparoussis Nemea Reserve 2013

3rd- Arni- grilled lamb with celeriac and petimezi- paired with Biblia Chora Estate Red 2008

Dessert- Roxakia- Greek nut cookies with ice cream- Parparoussis Mavrodaphne 2004
