American Legion Fundraiser Supper 09/10/22 at 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

American Legion Fundraiser Supper

The American Legion in Brunswick is having a fundraiser supper on Saturday, September 10th. The $12 price includes hearty Beef Stew (made with “Stout and Give Me 20” beer from the Stars & Stripes Brewery in Freeport), a Biscuit and Apple Cobbler for dessert. We’ll have curbside pick-up from 5 to 6pm – OR – dine inside at the American Legion Post in Brunswick – and stay for the movie!

This is a very special supper as we will be donating 100% of supper sales (and all donations too!) to the Maine Auxiliary President’s Project “You Will Never Walk Alone”.  This effort to reduce the high number of veteran suicides supports the psychiatric ward at Togus VA Medical Center and the VA community outreach program that works with local police and other agencies working on suicide prevention statewide.

This is a monthly fundraiser for the American Legion Post 20 in Brunswick, located at 1 Columbus Drive, right off the Mason Street entrance to Route 1 north. This is usually held the first Saturday of every month but will be the second weekend due to the Labor Day holiday.

If possible, please RSVP to Post20.suppers@gmail.com  or leave a phone message at 721-1172.  Include your name, the number of suppers wanted, a phone number, and whether you’ll be taking yours to-go or dining in.

More info can be found on our Facebook page –  just search for “American Legion Brunswick” (https://www.facebook.com/Brunswick-American-Legion-Post-20-162580933845425 ).  You can also leave your questions as a voicemail on our phone at 721-1172.
