The Paths That Lead Us Here: Mosaic Workshop

In this three hour workshop, participants will use the double direct mosaic method to arrange mostly pre-cut glass and ceramics into a design that signifies the twists and turns of life have brought them to the present day.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own bits of broken china, pottery, glass, beads, bottle caps, small rocks, shells, etc. to add to their square. Please note that the creative educator will take squares home for grouting. They will be available at Pinecone Studio after drying.

Herenya “Ren” Wilkey is a stained glass artist. Since early childhood, she has felt most at home amidst the clutter and chaos of whatever project she was working on. Her many interests took her on journeys through jewelry making, blacksmithing, pottery, pyrography, and floral design. Her love of light and color inspired the desire to explore the art of stained glass.
