As part of Harvest Week 2023, MCHPP is excited to offer a free 3-part community discussion series in partnership with the Maine Humanities Council. The discissions will be guided by our facilitator, Lacey Sparks, and grounded in selected texts: Saturday at the Food Pantry by Diane O’Neill and The Seed Keeper by Diane Wilson. Our hope is for participants to examine and discuss the deep interconnections between community, our food system and food security. Participation is free and the selected texts are provided at no cost.
The group will convene in-person for three consecutive Thursdays: 9/28, 10/5, and 10/12 from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Space is limited and we ask that participants are able to commit to attending all three discussions. Advanced registration required!
