Family Harvest Day

Join MCHPP at Growing to Give for a day of family fun on the farm! The day will include festive snacks, activities, farm projects, and more. See below for a list of some potential farm projects your family might assist with! Projects will focus on preparing the farm to ‘hibernate’ for the winter so it’s healthy and ready for planting next spring.

There are two sessions available: An early session from 9-11am and a midday session from 11am-1pm. Please purchase tickets corresponding to your preferred session.

All age humans are welcome but please leave pets at home (the goats thank you). Parent/adult supervision of the children in your group is required at all times.

Farm projects might include:

• Seed sowing of cover crops
• Garden bed winter prep- removing leftover crops and trellising, covering soil, etc.
• Field harvesting lingering end of season crops
• Mulching pathways
• Transplanting seedings
