Bowdoin International Music FestivalThe Bowdoin International Music Festival’s 2021 season is back in Brunswick! Over 200 students and 50 faculty and guest chamber-music artists will be on the campus of Bowdoin College for a dynamic summer of performance and learning. Concerts, masterclasses, conversations with composers and more are available throughout the day, for a full schedule and to sign up for event announcements, visit www.bowdoinfestival.org While the Festival community is overjoyed to make music in person again, we are not able to invite public audiences back to the recital hall yet due to our COVID protocols and campus agreement with Bowdoin College. All concerts and events will be live-streamed online from the college’s beautiful state-of-the art Studzinski Recital Hall for free. (No in-person public seating available this summer.)

Summer in the Arctic 2021Join the Arctic Museum for Summer in the Arctic 2021!The Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum will remain closed to the public throughout the summer, so we have relocated some of our operations to a tent on the Coe Quad (between Smith Union and Moulton Union). Come visit us Tuesday and Friday mornings in the Coe Quad Tent for summer programming with weekly Arctic themes! July 2 to August 20, 2021 From 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. we will present a themed story and a simple craft for our youngest visitors. Dream: The Music of the Everly BrothersThis co-production with Portland Stage is a tribute to the amazing songs of The Everly Brothers. Dream: The Music of the Everly Brothers features Ben Hope and Eric Anthony performing the music of the immensely popular American rock-n-roll duo, whose style of harmonizing and steel-string acoustic guitar influenced a generation of country rockers and made famous dozens of hits including “Bye Bye Love,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” and “Cathy’s Clown.” This show is performed at the Pickard Theater at Bowdoin College.
