The Brunswick Visitor Center

At the Visitor Center friendly our knowledgeable Greeters will help you find your way around town and our region. They will provide you with an array of printed materials showcasing the best of the Southern Mid Coast, including our  guides to Brunswick Dining & Lodging and Shopping, Recreation & Entertainment.  The Visitor Center is a central hub for all local and regional transportation, including the following:

 The Amtrak Downeaster  Offers 5 daily round-trip train services from Brunswick to Freeport, Portland, and Boston. You can purchase your tickets online or inside the Visitor Center during regular business hours using the all new Quik-Trak Kiosk.  For pricing and schedules click here.

Concord Coach Lines bus service offers one departure south and one departure north each day of the week from the Brunswick Visitor Center to connect in Bangor or Portland. Tickets can be purchased online. Visit Concord’s website for further details.

Metro Breez provides convenient bus service to/from Portland with stops in Freeport, Yarmouth, Falmouth and Portland with 3 Pick-up locations in Brunswick.  Service runs 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday.  Click here for updated schedules. Brunswick Taxi provides safe, comfortable taxi services to the local community. Airport and long distance service available. Please note-limited taxi service is available and long wait times can be expected.

Long term Parking is available at two locations: The Union Street Lot operated by the Town of Brunswick offers limited parking for $2 per day. Pay at the kiosk located at the entrance to the parking lot.  

The all new Cedar Street Parking lot is now open and features plentiful, long-term parking at approximately 1/8th of a mile from the Visitor Center.  (A convenient pathway is planned for the future). While at the Visitor Center, grab a bite to eat at Byrne’s Irish Pub or Scarlet Begonias Italian restaurant, both feature seasonal outside dining. Coffee & other goodies are a short walk to Bohemian Coffee House (Railroad Avenue). Also located on Station Avenue are Mid Coast Primary Care & Walk-In Clinic, Five County Credit Union, the Town of Brunswick town offices, Bay Bowls, Flip Breakfast Bar, Lemongrass Restaurant, Noble Kitchen + Bar, and Edible Arrangements.  Stay overnight at either The Brunswick Hotel or OneSixtyFive Inn, both within walking distance of the Visitor Center.  Many more shops and eateries are just a few more steps away. 

The Visitor Center provides a logical first stop for visitors to get acquainted with our lovely coastal town, its dining and retail establishments, cultural offerings, and the recreational and scenic attractions that surround us.
