Discussion with Former Head of TU National Highlights Free November Meeting of Brunswick’s Merrymeeting Bay Trout Unlimited
Tuesday, November 21, Joshua’s Restaurant, 123 Maine St, Brunswick, 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Charles Gauvin, former CEO of Trout Unlimited national and current advisor to the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust, will discuss Maine’s Kennebago River native brook trout at the November meeting of the Merrymeeting Bay Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
Charles served as head of TU national from 1991-2010 and is a veteran environmental activist and lawyer. A long-time Maine resident, Charles focuses on land conservation for the future of Maine’s brook trout and all native wildlife. He will draw on that experience in his presentation to MMBTU: “The Kennebago Headwaters Project — Conserving and Restoring Maine’s Most Iconic Brook Trout Watershed.”
MMBTU members and the public are invited to attend the Merrymeeting Bay TU meeting of this national cold-water conservation organization as we gather sportspeople and conservationists on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Joshua’s Restaurant, 123 Maine Street, Brunswick.
Social hour begins at 6:00 pm, the presentation starts at 7:00 pm. The event is free; dinner and drinks can be purchased. MMBTU meetings are held at Joshua’s on the third Tuesday of each month, September through May.
No admission fee. Open to members and non-members.
