Pilates at Maine PilatesHealthy Living Fundamentals is a beginner-level Reformer Pilates class designed for individuals with specific needs, such as osteoporosis, arthritis, post-surgery recovery, or pregnancy. With small class sizes, this class offers personalized support and focuses on teaching participants the necessary modifications to move safely and confidently. By building strength, mobility, and balance, participants will develop the skills needed to transition into open-level classes with a strong understanding of how to adapt movements to suit their individual needs. About Maine Pilates: Your practice. Your way. At Maine Pilates, we take care to understand your individual goals and objectives of your practice – whether in classes or private lessons. Our certified teachers always provide alternatives to movements so you can exercise and build on your practice in the way that works for you. Our atmosphere supports Joseph Pilate’s original intention by thoughtfully integrating the 6 Pilates Principles: Breathe, Flow, Centering, Concentration, Precision, and Control. These are the principles that help us create a mindful workout experience unique to our studios and garner the best results for your body and mind.
