Teen Survivor Support GroupSASSMM is starting a teen sexual violence survivors support group this November! This group is for anyone aged 13-18 who has experienced sexual violence (like sexual harassment, sexual abuse, or sexual assault) and lives in the Midcoast (Eastern Cumberland, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox, and Waldo Counties). We’ll be meeting on Monday evenings, 11/8/21 – 12/20/21 from 7-8:30 PM EST via Zoom. Please fill out our support group interest form, making sure to check “teen survivors,” for more information: www.sassmm.org/support-group-interest-form Once we receive your entry, one of the support group facilitators will reach out to set up a meeting via phone or Zoom. We look forward to hearing from you! *Please note that SASSMM advocates are mandated reporters. This means if we hear or suspect that a minor or dependent adult is being abused, we have to let other people know to keep them safe. The support group facilitators will talk more in depth about this during the meeting. You have a choice about what information you share with us. |
