Secrets of Brunswick by Red Cloak Tours 11/08/21 at 8:00 am to 7:00 pm

Secrets of Brunswick by Red Cloak Tours

Explore Brunswick in a unique and exciting way – through a Red Cloak Walking Tour! Offered daily, these walking tours will give you an inside look into the historic area and some of the earlier residents as well as a spirit or two that inhabit the area.

Hear real history as well as little known folklore as you experience a walk back in time on the easy stroll through one of the historic sections in town. Tours are offered several times every day through November.

The tours are private for your family or group and are appropriate for all ages. Guided from point to point by your professional storyteller, in real time, the walks are done by phone via conference call. This allows for questions, interaction and personalization on your Maine “Adventure in Discovery.” Up to 10 people can join in on the call for $29.95 total.

A Red Cloak “TeleTour” can be booked online or over the phone. Other types of historical tours are available throughout the state. www.RedCloakTours.com or 207-380-3806.

Teen Survivor Support Group 11/08/21 at 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Teen Survivor Support Group

SASSMM is starting a teen sexual violence survivors support group this November! This group is for anyone aged 13-18 who has experienced sexual violence (like sexual harassment, sexual abuse, or sexual assault) and lives in the Midcoast (Eastern Cumberland, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox, and Waldo Counties). We’ll be meeting on Monday evenings, 11/8/21 – 12/20/21 from 7-8:30 PM EST via Zoom.

Please fill out our support group interest form, making sure to check “teen survivors,” for more information: www.sassmm.org/support-group-interest-form

Once we receive your entry, one of the support group facilitators will reach out to set up a meeting via phone or Zoom. We look forward to hearing from you!

*Please note that SASSMM advocates are mandated reporters. This means if we hear or suspect that a minor or dependent adult is being abused, we have to let other people know to keep them safe. The support group facilitators will talk more in depth about this during the meeting. You have a choice about what information you share with us.
