Walking Tour: Pennellville’s Shipbuilding Past

Learn the fascinating story of shipbuilding in Brunswick on this walk through the Pennellville Historic District on the southern end of town. Nancy Pennell, a family member and longtime former resident of the area, will be your expert guide. Several Pennell family homes are included on the tour.

Participants meet at Livesay Soccer Field in Pennellville, 18 Middle Bay Road. Note: There is no restroom available on the tour or any place to stop for water. The tour is approximately 2 miles and takes 90 minutes. Cars are not allowed on the tour; it is for walkers only.
