Simply Social at Curtis Memorial Library

Our April Simply Social was held at Curtis Memorial Library, where they announced the library’s newest project, the Creative Hive, as well as an ongoing capital campaign to restore the windows in the 1904 building. With bites from Senza Scarpe and drinks from Vessel & Vine, this event invited community connection and education about the many services Curtis Memorial Library has to offer!

Jane’s Walk

P1050171

On May 3rd, we partnered with Pejepscot History Center to host Brunswick’s Jane’s Walk. Jane’s Walk is a global festival of free, volunteer-led walking conversations inspired by community activist Jane Jacobs. Our event, “Brunswick’s Heart: A Walk Through History & Community”, took participants through downtown Brunswick, visiting key nonprofit organizations. Participants visited 7 nonprofits to learn about their work and how it impacts our community. Participants also learned the history of the buildings these organizations occupy. From fighting food insecurity and homelessness to bringing entertainment and educational resources to the community, Brunswick’s nonprofits are doing incredible work!
