About this Event
Join Kerin, owner of Cape Porpoise Trading Company, and weave your own recycled lobster rope doormat. on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Mare Brook Farm.
In this unique experience, participants will use colorful lobster rope once used by local lobstermen, to create a sturdy and eye-catching doormat. This hands-on workshop is perfect for crafters, ocean lovers, and anyone interested in maritime culture. Come connect with Maine’s coastal traditions and leave with a handmade piece of functional art!
All materials are provided and no experience is necessary. All ages welcome.
Ticket cost is $100/person, light refreshments will be provided.
