About this Event
The Side Door Coffeehouse is a space for local musicians and others (professional and amateur) to share their talents, and for residents and visitors of the Midcoast community to enjoy great entertainment and conversation in a relaxed setting. It is hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick (1 Middle St. Brunswick, ME) and is run by a group of volunteers.
Admission is $12 for adults and free for children 17 and under.

Open Mic signup at 6:45 pm

Carolyn Currie – 8:30-9:30 pm.
Carolyn Currie’s music has been described as “haunting,” her “luminous her voice” carrying listeners to a place of reflection and emotional intensity. She has shared the stage with greats like Jonathan Edwards, Tom Rush, Lucy Kaplansky, Cheryl Wheeler and Richard Shindell, and has captivated audiences throughout the US playing festivals such as Seattle’s Bumbershoot and Folk Life Festivals, California’s High Sierra Music Festival and the Kerrville Folk Festival.
Described as “utterly spell–binding,” Carolyn’s music has garnered numerous awards and national recognition. Her 2014 release, Echolocation, climbed to #2 in the Alternative Folk charts.
