About this Event

This 90-minute session combines guided meditation, music and communal creative practice to access, energize and strengthen our creativity.

This session is for those of us who are open to pursuing a deeper connection to our unique voice, want to soften and unburden self-doubt and fear of failure, and renew our sense of safety and curiosity about ourselves and others as we navigate our difficult times.

The guided meditation portion of the session is an immersive experience inspired by Slavic folk tales and mysticism, performed live with music and sound effects. After meditating, participants will have time to write and draw with the option of engaging with creative prompts and techniques for moving past any blocks, offered by the facilitator (Victoria).

In each session, we will:

Begin with gentle, guided movements to prepare our bodies to relax

Lay down or sit comfortably for a 45 minute guided meditation

Finish the session with 20 to 30 minutes of self-led creative practice with prompts offered

This workshop is appropriate for those looking to try meditation for the first time or those with a lifelong meditation practice. Though art and writing supplies are provided for self-directed work, those who want to use their sketchbook, journal or any other tools are encouraged to bring them.
