Presented by the SBA Maine District Office, this program provides hands-on training, expert guidance, and networking opportunities to help small business owners grow their business, strengthen financial management, and expand into new markets.

About the Program:

SBA Next Level CEO is a 7-week cohort program designed to reignite your entrepreneurial spirit. You will attend one 2-hour module session each week starting July 31, 2025. This comprehensive course provides a better understanding of:

How to Conduct Market Research and Why It’s Important –Make informed decisions by understanding your market and target audience.
Social Media and Your Online Presence –Build and optimize your online brand to engage your audience and drive growth.
Your Financial Statements and How Actions Impact Your Numbers –Learn how to analyze financial statements and make strategic decisions to improve your bottom line.
Selling to the Government, Anchor Institutions, and Global Markets –Discover opportunities to secure government contracts, partner with major institutions, and expand globally.

Who Can Apply:

Ideal Participants have been in operation for 3+ years and generate a minimum of $250,000 in annual revenue, are willing to be an active participant in a cohort setting, and able to commit to attending all 7 in-person module sessions. You must be an owner of the business to participate.

Additional Program Details

The 2025 SBA Next Level CEO Brunswick Cohort will be held in person at the Brunswick Downtown Association, located at 124 Main Street, Ste. 107, Brunswick, Maine. This cohort-based program is designed to help you strengthen your business strategies and forge meaningful connections with peers and experts. Participants will work closely with each other, sharing insights, experiences, and feedback to foster growth and collaboration. A confidentiality agreement is required to ensure a supportive and open environment for discussions and feedback.

Application Process

Please answer all the questions on the order form. Your answers will help us to begin determining your eligibility for participation. Each applicant will participate in an interview to confirm eligibility, discuss program details, and address questions. Accepted applicants will be notified by phone and will receive a welcome packet via email.
