Can you believe that summer is coming to an end already? With the final Music on the Mall last week, the final 2nd Friday this week, and our Community BBQ right around the corner, the BDA is marking the end of the 2025 summer events season. This summer is finishing strong, with August being a month packed with fun community events.

2nd Friday Brunswick

August’s 2nd Friday was held on Pleasant Street, featuring more than 50 vendors and live music from Mic Smyth, Cosmik Blue, Heather MacLeod, The Curl Tapes, and Eight Balls Band. As always, The Mix hosted our free tie-dye experience, along with more vendors, music, and a button-making activity with ArtVan. Curtis Memorial Library also took part in August’s 2nd Friday festivities with lawn games, block printing, free iced coffee, and more!
