About this Event
The Tom Settlemire Community Garden overflows with native, pollinator, and beneficial plants and we are offering selected species to take home for a suggested donation — with proceeds directly supporting the Garden! The Community Garden helps dozens of local families grow their own food, offers free gardening workshops, and grows thousands of pounds of fresh produce annually for Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program. When you shop, you help our community grow!
You will be able to select from a variety of native seedlings that have been winter sown, germinated in June, and nurtured all summer in addition to a variety of mature species growing in the Garden. From beebalm to yarrow, you will find something that suits your garden!

Please review the list and come prepared with ideas of what you’d like. The event is first come, first serve. Be prepared to wait your turn! Bring a chair if you want. We will have labeling supplies and newspaper available to take your selections home.
If you are committed to purchasing a variety of species that will total at least $50, please contact us directly at plantsale@btlt.org to discuss your interests and make special arrangements for pick-up.
This event is rain or shine, except in the case of torrential rain, high winds, lightning, etc.
