About this Event
Revolutionary Collections: Late 18th Century Treasures from Mass Historical, Maine Historical, and Pejepscot History
The best way to understand what the Revolutionary Era was like is to delve into the primary sources of the day. This fun show-and-tell Zoom panel shares documents, objects, and artwork dated in and around 1776 to put you in the moment. We’ll start with the largest circle of context—Massachusetts, then move to Maine generally, and finally to our three towns.
Presenters:
Kanisorn Wongsrichanalai, Peter Drummey Chief Historian, Massachusetts Historical Society
Kathleen Neumann, Curator of Education and Public Programs, Maine Historical Society
Robin Davis, Manager of Collections and Research, Pejepscot History Center
Moderated by Larissa Picard, Executive Director, PHC
