Rotary Club of Brunswick showcases Midcoast in journal packets

Never let another great idea slip away because you don’t have a place to jot it down. The Rotary Club of Brunswick has the perfect place for you to keep all of your notes, appointments, and memories in an exclusive softcover organizational journal created by local Rotarians. These colorful journals featuring beautiful local scenery captured by Rotarian photographers make great holiday gifts for friends and loved ones, but don’t forget to get one for yourself too.

The journal packets are just $25 each and all proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Brunswick’s service projects.

The journal includes pages for you to track birthdays, movies and television shows to watch, books to read, charitable contributions, restaurants to try, gift ideas, places to visit, phone numbers, and much more. Each page features a different photo of Midcoast Maine, and the journal packet includes 12 notecards with complementary photos, envelopes and index cards. Write your personal message inside the blank notecards to let someone know you are thinking of them.

On the last page of the journal is your chance to win one of the Rotary Club’s weekly $25 prize drawings. Everyone who purchases or receives a journal as a gift can complete the raffle ticket to be entered in cash drawings held at Rotary Club meetings throughout the year.

Each year the Rotary Club of Brunswick holds fundraisers to support Rotary projects in the Brunswick area communities. Those projects include co-presenting the annual Bike Rodeo Safety Day, Fourth of July Games on the Mall, holiday gifts to homeless children, scholarships for students, Turkeys for Tedford, support for Midcoast Hunger Prevention, annual gifts to various non-profits filling community needs, donations to Polio Plus to eradicate polio worldwide, and support for international projects.

The journal packets were designed by Rotarian Allison Hopkins, who co-chaired the project with Rotarian Peggy Siegle, and it is supported by local business sponsorships and donations from individual Rotarians.  Business sponsors include Dolphin Marina and Embark, Crooker Construction, Brackett Funeral Home, Fiore, Well Tree, Casco Bay Kayak, Wilcox Wellness and Fitness, Bath Savings, Dead River, Senter Place, Bangor Savings Bank, Morning Glory, Bar Harbor Bank and Trust, Dave Gleason at Coldwell Banker, Spark Applied Efficiency, Thornton Oaks/Maine Health, and Brunswick Instant Printing. Corporate Rotary members Martin’s Point and Wilcox Wellness and Fitness provide support throughout the year.

The journal packets are available now for holiday giving and can be purchased throughout the coming year until they are sold out.

Check out the journals online at brunswickmainerotary.org. Journals can be ordered through any Brunswick Rotarian or contact Peggy Siegle at peggyjsiegle@gmail.com.  Payment can be made by check or online by credit card.
