SUMMARY:Slow Flow Yoga
DESCRIPTION:🧘‍♀️ Slow Flow is a weekly\, all-levels yoga class offered on a pay-what-you-can basis—from $0 to $75. This class is all about moving gently and intentionally\, blending mindful movement with spacious pauses for breath and rest. Whether you’re new to yoga or a longtime practitioner\, you’re welcome just as you are. \nAt ECC\, we believe yoga is so much more than a stretchy workout. It’s a lifelong\, spiritual practice rooted in the wisdom of Southeast Asian and African traditions—one that invites us into deeper relationship with ourselves\, each other\, and the world around us. \nWe do our best to honor yoga’s roots by weaving in teachings on self-awareness\, ethics\, and collective care—while keeping our classes slow\, grounding\, and accessible. ✨ \n🌱 All donations for this class go directly to our Class Scholarship Fund\, which helps folks access other ECC classes and workshops. When the fund is thriving\, we extend it to support local mutual aid projects too. Got an idea for where it could go next? We’d love to hear it! \n💕 And just to be crystal clear: nobody will ever be turned away for lack of funds. Come as you are\, and move with us in community.

SUMMARY:VentiCordi Chamber Music presents\, ‘IMAGINE’
DESCRIPTION:This evocative musical experience invites you into two extraordinary sound worlds—one unfinished\, the other timeless. \nBegin with Arnold Schönberg’s Ein Stelldichein (A Rendezvous)\, a rarely heard early work shimmering with late-Romantic color and mystery. Though incomplete\, it offers a tantalizing glimpse into the young composer’s expressive voice. \nThen\, journey into the transcendent with Olivier Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time\, written during his imprisonment in a WWII camp. Scored for an unusual ensemble of piano\, clarinet\, violin\, and cello\, this masterpiece is a meditation on eternity\, faith\, and the resilience of the human spirit. Let this evening of profound beauty and emotional depth transport you beyond the boundaries of time and sound. \nPlease join us at 1:00 for a pre-concert panel discussion of the fascinating story behind Messiaen’s remarkable work.

SUMMARY:The Theater Project Presents: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley\, Adapted by Dorothy Louise
DESCRIPTION:Directed by Julia Brown\nNovember 7th-16th\, 2025 \nIn this chilling adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein\, playwright Dorothy Louise breathes new life into the gothic horror classic—revealing a tale far more terrifying than a simple monster story. When Victor Frankenstein abandons the being he creates\, the Creature is left to stumble through a world that fears him\, twisting his loneliness into rage. \nPerformed by our Young Company\, this dark and emotionally charged production explores what happens when creation turns on its creator—and when the real horror is not the monster\, but the mirror it holds up to us all. \nSuggested Donation: $25.00 for Adults\, $22.00 for Students & Seniors\, $18.00 for Kids \nTickets available online are suggested pricing. To reserve tickets at pay-what-you-can pricing\, call the box office at (207) 729-8584 or email at boxoffice@theaterproject.com.
