Amtrak Exhibit Train – Tour the Amtrak Exhibit Train which tells the remarkable story of U.S. intercity passenger rail through the display of artifacts and memorabilia. This event is FREE to the public and will feature train tours, samples of Maine Made products from the Amtrak Downeaster Café, educational exhibits, activities for kids, ticket giveaways, and more. 1:30 PM to 5 PM.

Free Concert – Two Singer/Songwriters from Nashville. On the Town Mall from 3 PM – 4 PM.

  • Dave Pahanish is a singer songwriter from Pittsburgh Pa, who moved to Nashville in 2007 and since then has written songs for Toby Keith, Jimmy Wayne, DavePahanish webTim McGraw, Keith Urban and many others. He has had 3 of his 5 singles go to Number 1 on the billboard country charts- Keith Urban’s “Without You”, Toby Keith’s “American Ride”, and Jimmy Wayne’s “Do you Believe Me Now”(also co-produced by Dave).   As a performing songwriter, Dave has toured extensively thru the years. He’s a 2 year veteran of the Country Throwdown Tour which included Willie Nelson, Eric Church, Little Big Town, Jamie Johnson, Montgomery Gentry, Eli Young Band, and many others.

  • With a fresh perspective on the art of sound and the craft of melody, Hugh Mitchell is raising the stakes with his recording. Due out in May, Hugh has recorded his sophomore album with former Wilco and Uncle Tupelo drummer, Ken Coomer. This album is both orchestral and Southern.  A style that captures the gritty, intimate, and soulful writing that Hugh is known for. Hugh has toured nationally since 2006 Hugh Mitchell webplaying guitar in venues from bars, to arenas, to stadiums. Fellow co-writer and collaborator Charlie Mars has just recorded one of their songs for his upcoming release.
