June 19 Domhegan with Troy Ancona
Join the Pejepscot Historical Society on Sunday, June 19 as one of our long-time Chamberlain Museum docents shares the history of Domhegan, Joshua Chamberlain’s summer home on Simpson’s Point. Although the house burned to the ground in 1940, guide Troy Ancona will vividly bring it to life for participants, who will have access to the site and grounds, and learn the details of Chamberlain’s family life and later years. The tour departs at 1 pm from the Chamberlain Museum located at 226 Maine Street in Brunswick, and participants will carpool from there to Domhegan.
Space is limited, so please call Pejepscot Historical Society at 207.729.6606 or email email@example.com to register by noon on Friday, June 17.
