The Our Health: Film and Discussion Series continues on August 18 at Frontier Cinema and Café in Brunswick. Offered jointly by Mid Coast Hospital and Access Health, the next film, “The Connection,” will screen at 7:00 p.m., followed by a discussion about the mind body connection and how it can influence health. The event is free and open to the public.
The Connection delves into the link between our mind and body, and the remarkable stories of recovery attributed to this “missing link” in healthcare. The Connection shows we may have more influence over our own health outcomes than we ever thought possible.
Anne Brown, MD, Integrative Medicine Practitioner at St. Mary’s Medical Associates, Hannah Reese, PhD, Assistant Psychology Professor at Bowdoin College and Benjamin Tipton, MPA-C, Physician Assistant with Mid Coast Medical Group–Bath will lead the audience in a discussion directly following the film.
The film series continues throughout the year, featuring films that shine a spotlight on important health topics for the Midcoast region. For upcoming films and to reserve seats, visit: www.explorefrontier.com/schedule/film.
