A towering masterpiece of the early Baroque, Claudio Monteverdi’s 1610 Vespers of the Blessed Virgin is at once intimate and resplendent, devotional and theatrical, pious and sensual. Don’t miss this highlight of the classical music season.

With Scott Metcalfe and the Blue Heron Ensemble—first North American winner of the British Gramophone Award for Early Music. Featuring soprano Molly Quinn, GRAMMY-winning mezzo Virginia Warnken, tenors Lawrence Jones, Jason McStoots, and Eric Perry, and baritone Sumner Thompson.
