Enjoy a reception to celebrate the exhibition, Richard Pousette-Dart: Painting/Light/Space, at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, featuring large-scale paintings from the 1960s and early 1970s, a fruitful period in Pousette-Dart’s career in which his work was widely exhibited.
This reception follows the opening lecture on April 19 at 4:30 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium, Visual Arts Center, Bowdoin College
Jennifer Powell, Senior Curator, Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge, United Kingdom, and lecturer, University of Cambridge, presents new insights into the artistic practice and philosophical inclinations of the painter Richard Pousette-Dart.
