In partnership with Opticliff Law in Portland, New Ventures Maine is offering a free workshop for new and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as those already operating a small business.
This workshop will be presented by Attorney Adam Nyhan. Mr. Nyhan will discuss key contract issues that confront small businesses, including how to protect yourself from customers’ nonpayment; what freelancers and their clients should know about intellectual property; what types of contracts must be in writing; website Terms of Use basics; and a valuable take-away checklist of essential provisions that should appear in every contract you sign.
Please bring questions for this interactive Q&A workshop.
