Enoteca Athena welcomes back Christine Burns Rudalevige & Ali Waks-Adams’ Butter+Salt Pop Up. The chefs return with a series of dinners inspired by Art and Literature.
Butter+ Salt:Salon leads diners towards the past, to the Left Bank and the famed Parisian salon of Mesdames Gertude Stein and Alice B. Toklas. On November 6th they will be serving a multi-course French dinner inspired by the artists (Picasso, Man Ray, Hemingway, Porter, Fitzgerald, Wilder, Rousseau, Baker, etc) whose bodies and souls were nourished at their table and the art they created.
For Ernest – Roasted oysters, Casco Bay truffle butter
Landscape Autumn -Duck rillettes, pickled carrots, fried parsley
A Trip to Giverny – Maine cider braised pork shoulder, apple fritters, beet puree, bacon dust
Still life of Cheese & Fruit- Local cheeses, seasonal fruit, honey
Treasures from Binh- Ice cream, pistachio, ginger
+ a few surprises and additions
