Brunswick Making Strides Against Breast Cancer volunteers will be meeting on Monday, May 11th from 6-7 PM at the Bowdoin Mill to start planning and organizing our October event.

How can you help?

  • Join our Brunswick leadership team – a little time, and a little talent go a long way in the fight against breast cancer.  We meet once a month so join us on Monday, May 11th.
  • Start a team for the event this October!  There is no fee to register for our 3 mile walk, but of course we encourage you to FUNdraise to help us forward our life-saving mission. Sign up  at www.MakingStridesWalk.org/BrunswickME
  • Become an event sponsor, or a day of event volunteer.  The more people that join the fight, the quicker we will find the finish line.
  • Tell us how you would like to help support our effort.  We would love to plan a unique event, or partner with local businesses and organizations who want to make a difference.

For more information or to RSVP for the May meeting please call Matt Kennedy at 207.373.3719 or email matt.kennedy@cancer.org

Every Making Strides event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease or find it early when it’s most treatable.

If you, or someone you know has been impacted by cancer please come visit our Topsham office in the Bowdoin Mill, Suite 300 (the 3rd floor of the yellow mill).  We are here to help in person Monday through Friday 9am-5pm, and 24/7 online at www.cancer.org or at 1-800-227-2345.
