While there are currently no known cases of COVID-19 on campus or in Maine, Bowdoin College has made the difficult decision to cancel the Community Bean Supper planned for this Saturday, March 14. The College reached the decision in consultation with both on- and off-campus medical providers in order to protect those most at risk from COVID-19. College staff will follow up with those registered for the supper to issue refunds for tickets already purchased. Please contact the Office of Events and Summer Programs at email@example.com or 725-3433 with any questions.
In recognition of Maine’s bicentennial, Bowdoin College and the Town of Brunswick are sponsoring a bean supper for the community on the anniversary of statehood, Saturday, March 14, 4 p.m.– 6 p.m. There will be music by the band Pejepscot Station and a brief presentation at 5 p.m. by the Pejepscot History Center and Maine State Music Theater. The bean supper is being held in conjunction with a guided tour through three Maine-themed exhibitions at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art; the tour begins at 3 p.m.
The public is welcome. The price of the bean supper is $7.50 for adults; $4.50 for children; the tour is free of charge.
