Enoteca Athena presents Seminaria Athena, a series of Wednesday tasting classes featuring Italian Wines, Greek Wines, Maine Beers, Craft Cocktails and Handmade Pasta.
Classes are $33 a person and will include historical information and tasting of wines from various regions. the first set of classes will focus on the Wines of Italy.
Wednesday November 9 we will be tasting the wines of Piedmont, Alto Adige & Fruili, areas not only known for their interesting wines but as the ancestral homes of Carlos Petrini, founder of the Slow Food Movement, Speck and Nutella.
A selection of spuntini (Italian snacks) chosen to match the wines will be served during the class.
Nikaline Iacono, Enoteca’s Beverage Manager and one of the area’s leading authorities on Greek and Italian wines will be leading guests through the tastings.
