ART SHOW AND RAFFLE
As part of the August 11th Second Friday Brunswick ArtWalk, Twice-Told Tales, the used bookstore in support of Curtis Memorial Library, is sponsoring a one-day Residency by Brunswick artist Maria Castellano-Usery. She will set up her easel in the bookstore in the morning and paint a new, colorful acrylic 8 by 8 inch panel over the course of the day.
Raffle tickets to win the painting ($5; 3 for $10) will be sold all day, with the drawing of the lucky ticket at 6:30 pm. Winner need not be present. 50% of raffle ticket sales will be donated to the Curtis Friends, who operate the bookstore in support of the Library.
Twice-Told Tales is located at 11 Pleasant Street in Brunswick, just down the street from the Library and Post Office. Normal business hours are Monday through Saturday 10 am to 4 pm.
