What Happens When the Tide Goes Out? Caring for a remote population

Sharon Daley is the Maine Seacoast Mission Nurse and Director of Island Health. She began nursing in traditional roles at hospitals like Massachusetts General and Boston Children’s, but spent the second half of her career traveling on a seventy-four-foot boat to provide care and connection to some of Maine’s most remote island communities.
