Introduction to Play Mandolin - a class for beginning teens and adults

Harmonious Beginnings

Introduce yourself to new musical instrument this Fall. Please join CML and local musicians for an introduction into the skills of ukulele, mandolin and bass playing. Come to the class to learn about resources for beginners and later borrow the instruments to practice from Curtis Memorial Library’s Library of Things.

Join us for an engaging mandolin lesson at the public library with experienced instructor Chris Moore! This class is perfect for beginners who are eager to learn the basics of mandolin playing and get tips on how to continue practicing at home. Chris will walk you through fundamental techniques, including strumming patterns and simple chord progressions, in a friendly and supportive setting. Please note that instruments will not be provided during the class, but you can check out a mandolin from our Library of Things. Come explore the rich, melodious world of the mandolin and start your musical journey!
