ArtBar 05/15/24 at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

ArtBar is a regularly scheduled fund-and-friend raiser! It brings people together at local establishments, where participants create a piece of art following a theme and project determined by ArtVan. Enjoy making art, meeting new people, a cash bar, and lite bites.

May’s theme is “Take Flight” inspired by the history of Flight Deck’s location! We’ll explore the theme of “taking flight,” and the symbolism of wings, airplanes, and engines using metal as our art medium. Working with metal scraps, participants can create their own decorative or functional art works such as a wall hanging, mobile, or wind chime.

Materials will include metal pieces, vinegar and metal brushes to add visual texture, metal tools, and acrylic paints to further embellish.

Registration required. Art Supplies Provided. No Art Experience Necessary.
