Santa Day at the Chamberlain MuseumPlease join us for Pejepscot History Center’s annual Santa Day celebration! Breaking with more than 15 years of tradition, this year we’re holding this popular event at the Joshua L. Chamberlain Museum to celebrate forty years of operation. This event takes place on Saturday, December 9, from 10AM to 1PM, at The Joshua L. Chamberlain Museum, 226 Maine Street, Brunswick. Limited parking is available in the museum parking lot along Potter Street. The entire downstairs of the house will be decorated for visitors to enjoy. Santa will be in the formal double parlor with the Chamberlain family’s gorgeous blue-silk furniture, perfect for fun photo opportunities. Carols will be sung in the lobby by Bowdoin College’s a capella women’s group, Miscellania. Light refreshments and treats will be available, and the Chamberlain Museum shop will be open for holiday gift purchases including books, apparel, and memorabilia. Additionally, all new PHC memberships will be 20% off. It doesn’t matter what age you are, all are welcome! This is a FREE event. No registration necessary. |

The Phantom TollboothThe Theater Project Presents: Here are Milo’s adventures in the Land of Wisdom, where he’s forced to think about many new things. Milo learns of the argument between King Azaz and his brother, the Mathemagician, whose disagreement over words and numbers has led to the banishment of Princesses Sweet Rhyme and Pure Reason. Milo is dispatched to rescue the princesses from the Land of Ignorance. Armed with the knowledge and skills he picks up on his journey, Mile rescues the princesses. When he must return home, Milo bids farewell to his new friends, knowing his attitude toward learning will never be the same. The Phantom Tollbooth runs two weekends at The Theater Project: December 8th- 17th: Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM.
