The Maine Made Market is organized in 2021 by Ann and Bob Hutchins, owners and operators of Maine Made Photos, which they established in 2006 after relocating from New Orleans due to hurricane Katrina. Their shop is located on Brunswick Landing.
The Arts Market is designed to showcase and sell Maine artists’ work and at the same time draw attention to and help support the Brunswick Naval Aviation Museum. The museum is embarking on a $3.5 million building renovation and exhibit installation to preserve the heritage of maritime patrol aviation, particularly that of the former Naval Air Station in Brunswick, and to memorialize those Brunswick based air crewmen who lost their lives in service to their country.
HOURS: The museum is open Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from  10 am – 4 pm. during the  market. A major feature of the museum is its state-of-the-art flight simulator. The museum is on the web at bnamuseum.com and you can follow us on Facebook. The museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and all contributions are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.
For further information concerning the Brunswick Landing Arts Market, or to be a vendor, contact Ann Hutchins at brunswicklandingartsmarket@gmail.com.

Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 06/24/23 at 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm

Brandenburg Concerto No. 1

Brandenburg Concerto No. 1

Part of our annual cycle, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 uses the unusual instrumentation of two horns, three oboes, and violino piccolo. This year we introduce the first of the “New Brandenburgs,” contemporary companion pieces inspired by Bach’s original concertos, with Stephen Hartke’s A Brandenburg Autumn.

SCHEDULE
6:00 p.m. – Pre-concert lecture (must have a concert ticket to attend)
Find out why musicians, musicologists, and NPR consider Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos “as powerful to me as any rock ‘n’ roll song, as energizing as any techno dance music, as driving and thrilling as any punk or heavy metal” (All Things Considered).

6:30 p.m. – Doors open
7:00 p.m. – Concert

TICKETS
Adults: $35 in advance, $40 at the door
Students: $15 in advance, $20 at the door
