39th Annual Trek Across Maine

Join us on Father’s Day weekend for Maine’s biggest family reunion! The 39th Annual Trek Across Maine, presented by VIP Tires and Service, wants you to cycle for lung health and help end lung disease.

Our traditional 3-day, 180-mile Trek will begin on June 17 at Thomas Point Beach in Brunswick. Cyclist will pedal their way to Bates College in Lewiston, head to St. Joseph’s college in Standish and finish at Thomas Point Beach. If you can’t make it, you can participate virtually!

Trekkers aim to raise over $1 million to support the American Lung Association mission to research, educate, and advocate to prevent lung disease and promote lung health.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

We need volunteers June 16-18 for rest stops, weekend drivers, route marshals, cheerleaders, and more. We have something for everyone! The route starts at Thomas Point Campground in Brunswick, travels to Bates College in Lewiston for the first overnight stop, and then on to St. Joseph’s College in Standish for the second night, before returning to Thomas Point Beach and Campground on Sunday.

Sign up for a shift, a day, or the whole weekend, whatever you choose! We do offer rooming and meals for volunteers who assist us more than one day. Please find shifts needed below.

You could collect all the registration forms and send to us or they can send directly to us. They can also register online….it’s just we don’t have a feature to select a group. We are working on that! Click here to download the Volunteer form.

The Maine Made Market is organized in 2021 by Ann and Bob Hutchins, owners and operators of Maine Made Photos, which they established in 2006 after relocating from New Orleans due to hurricane Katrina. Their shop is located on Brunswick Landing.
The Arts Market is designed to showcase and sell Maine artists’ work and at the same time draw attention to and help support the Brunswick Naval Aviation Museum. The museum is embarking on a $3.5 million building renovation and exhibit installation to preserve the heritage of maritime patrol aviation, particularly that of the former Naval Air Station in Brunswick, and to memorialize those Brunswick based air crewmen who lost their lives in service to their country.
HOURS: The museum is open Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from  10 am – 4 pm. during the  market. A major feature of the museum is its state-of-the-art flight simulator. The museum is on the web at bnamuseum.com and you can follow us on Facebook. The museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and all contributions are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.
For further information concerning the Brunswick Landing Arts Market, or to be a vendor, contact Ann Hutchins at brunswicklandingartsmarket@gmail.com.
