After School Inclusive MusicAfter School Music with 317 Main Community Music Center* Children will use their bodies, voices, and a variety of instruments to explore rhythms and musical concepts such as pitch, tempo, and dynamics. They will play as a group and have individual activities using new songs and familiar favorites. FREE and open for children pre-k through elementary ages accompanied by a parent, guardian, or trusted adult. Introduction to MindfulnessAre you feeling stressed, depleted or run down? Wishing you could find more peace or joy in your everyday life? Please join us for a 9-week mindfulness class based on the book “Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World” by Mark Williams and Danny Penman. Together, we will discuss its teachings, and learn mindfulness practices that can reconnect you to a greater sense of ease and enjoyment in your life. This program is open to all adults. No prior experience with mindfulness is needed.
